What is Reiki?
"Rei" means divine intelligence. "Ki" is life force energy, akin to the "chi" in martial arts, that which animates all living things. Reiki (pronounced "RAY-key") is spiritually guided life force energy.
Reiki is a natural, non-intrusive, soft-touch hands-on technique that is thousands of years old. With influence from Tibet, Japan, China, and India, Reiki was rediscovered in the 1860's by Doctor Mikao Usui. Its current popularity in the east and the west is a testament to Reiki's powerfully loving, healing effects. Reiki's current renown in the United States was demonstrated by a recent feature story on CBS News in New York.
Reiki is sourced by love and compassion. When it is transferred from Reiki practitioner to client, there is an energy flow that serves to calm, relax, heal, and enliven both the giver and the recipient. Clients report distinctive results that include:

What is Transcendental Reiki?
A new, cutting-edge, more electro-magnetic release of Reiki, the inspiration and energy for Transcendental Reiki was received by Viki Keyes, Grand Master, in the autumn of 1994
Transcendental Reiki is an evolved Reiki ray brought in to suit the quickening of the Earth's frequencies and the current paradigm shifts that come with the new millennium.
We offer Reiki Sessions. During a Reiki session, you are laying down, fully clothed, receiving Reiki from head to foot. The Reiki energizes your seven chakras (energy centers of the human body that effect a multitude of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual functions), rejuvenates muscles, boosts the immune system, releases stress and tension, and leaves you calm and relaxed.
We offer Reiki Attunements. So that more and more people may use the Reiki on themselves and others, we offer Reiki Attunements, which is the process by which the Reiki Energy is instilled in you. Reiki is not "taught". It is passed on from Reiki Master to initiate in an attunement process that is built upon degrees of empowerment.
REIKI I - FIRST DEGREE REIKI: You are opened to the Transcendental Reiki energy through four attunements and learn the hand positions for use on yourself and others. (If you have already done Reiki elsewhere, the special Transcendental Reiki will elevate your existing energy.) Full Day Reiki I Initiation: $200.
REIKI II - SECOND DEGREE REIKI: You receive the second degree Reiki initiation through two more attunements, which give you access to transmit an even higher level of Reiki energy. Along with the hand positions, you now learn to use the potent hand symbols that focus the Reiki energy where you wish; concentrate on mental/emotional healing; and send long-distance healing elsewhere. Full Day Reiki II Attunement: $275.
REIKI III - THIRD DEGREE REIKI: You receive three more attunements, further deepening and expanding your Reiki energy, and learn two more healing symbols to use in your Reiki practice. A must if you wish to work on others regularly. Full Day Reiki III Attunement: $275.
MASTER LEVEL PRACTITIONER: For those who wish to perform Reiki healings, teachings, and attunements, a Mastership Program is individually designed. You are taught all aspects of the Usui and Transcendental Reiki systems, including how to lead Reiki Attunement Days. More importantly, you undergo a transformational process of examining your life, dreams, motivations, and challenges in order to fine-tune and empower you to truly be a Reiki Master. Mastership Program: $1200
